Digital X-Rays
X-rays are a type of electromagnetic radiation, much like visible light. Yet, unlike light, x-rays possess greater energy and have the ability to penetrate through nearly all substances, including the human body. An ultrasound is a non-invasive imaging test that utilizes high-frequency sound waves to produce detailed pictures of organs, tissues, and various structures within the body. Consequently, ultrasound is alternatively referred to as ultrasonography or sonography. The resulting images obtained from ultrasound examinations are commonly known as sonograms.
